Sergio Hudson

Sergio Hudson was born in 1984 and raised in Fairfield County, South Carolina.  Hudson knew at the age of eight years old he wanted to impact the world with his designs. In 2003 he embarked upon his college career and graduated from design school with honors being named “Best Designer” in his class.  After which he began his professional career in 2005 and made the choice to return South Carolina and launch his namesake label.

Hudson credits himself as “a real designer with a long lived love affair with fashion”. His collections can be best described as timeless, versatile, and classic with a touch of edge. Hudson’s ostentatious style and passion for fine clothing makes this young designer one of the biggest names to come out of the south.

Vision

Hudson’s vision is to bring back the high dressing of the mid-20^th century and wants the women wearing his designs to feel when they step into a room that they are of the highest grandeur.

Ready-to-wear and custom design garments for successful woman ages 30 & up.

His resume includes several high profile clients ranging from musicians, artists, television personalities, and public figures. Hudson’s work has been published in numerous publications such as Essence, People, Jet, US Weekly, Black Woman Today and Newsweek.

Upcoming Event

Studio Opening, November 2011 at 1810 Sumter Street Columbia, SC. This event will be the debut of the Sergio Hudson-Green Label a more affordable line of women’s clothing.
