Committee

Our individual committee members have done an amazing job of putting together an event that had a powerful introduction, and this year will not be forgotten.

Jill Areheart has been a planner for By Invitation Only…Event Planning & Design for the past five years. Prior to that, she spent many years in marketing and communications, primarily for the insurance software and services industry. Jill is actively involved with several community groups, including pet-rescue organization Pawmetto Lifeline where she helps with their annual gala of more than 700 people. In 2007, she helped establish a successful teen after school center for at-risk youth and served on the board of directors until 2012. She is also an avid traveler and has spent time in Europe (with a 10-month stint in Italy), Southeast Asia, and Australia. Jill has an undergraduate degree in Advertising/Public Relations and an MBA in International Business.

Tamara Bunch has worked in beauty and fashion for over 20 years. A Bachelors Degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina provided a strong foundation in analytical thinking and a scientist’s understanding of the delivery systems and clinical strength formulas in BeautiControl’s cutting edge customized skin care, anti aging, and cosmeceuticals.  “My clients have increased confidence, look younger and feel better through our sensor based, customized skin care which gives them a prescription of exactly what their skin needs, plus color and image services through our online eBeauti Color and Style profiles.”

For the past 13 years Matt has managed to fall into various scenarios which have allowed him to do what he is most passionate about.  If he’s not designing websites, logos, brochures, ads, or magazines – then he’s most likely sleeping.

Matt comes from a technical background but has a knack for the creative.  Perplexing all known science, Matt has a way with conveying technical information in various formats to friends and clients in a way that helps them not only understand, but become more educated in the process.

Matt’s involvement with Wine, Dine & Design is nothing short of a mission of love which he hopes can help, in any way, the beautiful children at the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind.

Mackenzie Matthews-Taylor is no stranger to the Midlands area of South Carolina. She grew up in the quaint town of Gilbert, attended Gilbert High School, and was an honors graduate from the University of South Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Business Administration.

Before finding herself in the wonderful, every-changing world of the beauty industry, Mackenzie worked as an on-air personality for WBTW TV 13 in Florence/Myrtle Beach. Mackenzie covered everything from breaking news to politics and even had one of her stories featured on the Jimmy Kimmel show!

In 2008, Mackenzie and her high-school-sweetheart-turned-husband, Blair, moved back to the Columbia area and started a brand new life closer to family and friends. In April of 2009, Mackenzie joined Kenneth Shuler Schools of Cosmetology as the company’s Public Relations Specialist and she’s been in love with the beauty industry ever since! In addition to handling all of Kenneth Shuler’s advertising and marketing needs, she also manages and oversees all of the company’s philanthropic events such as Cuts for Cancer.

In her spare time, Mackenzie enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and spoiling her 6-year-old furry daughter, Coco Chanel. Mackenzie is also a beauty writer for Columbia Living Magazine.

Mackenzie is THRILLED to once again be a member of the Wine, Dine & Design planning committee and is looking forward to another awe-inspiring show in 2013!
